Expensive Taste is run by trained Image Consultants qualified to say how a woman should wear her clothes to best advantage. We offer, alongside clothes and accessories, expert advice enabling customers to achieve a co-ordinated, groomed and effective personal style. Our customers can build a rational and workable yet indulgent wardrobe where everything is loved and worn often.
We understand that not all clothes and accessories suit all bodies – what looks good on one woman may look ghastly on another. Therefore we have made a conscious decision to stock clothes and accessories for all types. All our items will be categorised into colour ranges:
- COOL & BRIGHT (Winter) - A range of bold, crisp, vibrant cool colours, black and white mixed with electric brights and icy tones.
- COOL & SOFT (Summer) - Cool colours in pastel hues – think Monet and Manet.
- WARM & BRIGHT (Spring) - Clear and warm citrus brights
- WARM & SOFT (Autumn) - Earthy, rustic, warm and typically autumnal.
We suggest that you stick within a colour range – that way, clothes and accessories will co-ordinate and you can mix and match.

Our products are not easily found on the local high street, as the designers we use are selective about where they are prepared to offer their stock. They want to retain their distinctive brand and identity so sell smaller amounts of quality items.
We aim to provide you with first class customer services:
- Purchases usually arrive the next working day and are guaranteed to arrive within 5 days.
- If an item is out of stock we will inform you immediately. You may make another selection or elect to wait for new stock to arrive.
- Customers may return unworn items free of charge. If you need to return an item we will send you a prepaid return label to make it easy for you.
- We are available to speak to you between 8.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday and at weekends between 10am and 6pm GMT.
